Four Hungry Mouths
I was going to wait and see if the Spotted Flycatchers fledged and then write a post about them but I just couldn’t resist showing you a 30 second “taster” of what life is like in the nest at the moment.

Great stuff Jane, they arent far away from fledging now. Its fantastic that you are able to get such good images of a declining bird
That’s lovely Jane and how lucky to have them nesting so close by
Looking forward to more news of the four babes and parents.
nice birds. superb to watch doing what they do best
They are all health and basically putting up with each other till they are adequately grown
They look good – and I know what you mean about waiting to see – we’ve had too many loses of our garden birds this year – and that’s just the nests I know about.
Came across you through a comment you left on ‘Victoria’s Backyard’. So pleased to find another Dorset Blog. Mine (LOOSE AND LEAFY)is having a holiday at present (because the summer is busy) but I’ll be back to posts there, come the autumn (or when I can’t resist it in between!).
